Terms and Conditions

Casa de la Luz is only mediator for the owners of the properties. We are liable to let the property in clean and working condition. If a property is not available at short sight (for example because of constructions next to the property or lack of water) we reserve to give you an equal or higher levelled property.

Payments

Payments can be done by bank transfer on the german or spanish account or by credit card (Visa or Master Card) with 3% fee.

After receiving the invoice a deposit of 25% (at least 50 Euro) has to be paid. Balance of payment is due at least 4 weeks before arrival. If the property is booked less than 4 weeks in advance the whole payment is due immediately.

With the payment of the balance is also due a security deposit of normally 100 Euros (depending on property). This security deposit will be refunded latest 2 weeks after leaving.

Cancellations

Cancellations need to be transmitted in written form. In case of cancellation the charges are as follows

Until 61 days before arrival 25 %

between 60. and 31. day 50 %

between 30. and 15. day 75 %

from the 14. day onwards 95 %

We highly recommend travel insurance with cancellation clause

Change of bookings

For change of bookings we ask a fee of 20 euros. Please note that we are only mediator and that a change from one house to another is only possible at least 61 days in advance without further cancellation fees.

During your stay

On your check-in day, the house will be available from 5 p.m. on. Check out is until 11 a.m. We try to arrange earlier check-in or later check-out times if needed, but this always has to be confirmed a few days before with Casa de la Luz.

Only the amount of persons announced in the invoice is allowed in the property.

The lodger is liable to take care of the property and to leave it tidy, dishes washed, floors swept and rubbish dumped.

Please let us know any problems immediately, so we can try to solve it as soon as possible.

Any damage caused by the lodger has to be reported to Casa de la Luz immediately.

For the country usual prejudices such as short cuts of electricity or insects are no reason for complaints.

Pools are normally opened from the week before Easter until mid of October.

We don’t take any responsibility for any accidents that happen during your stay and we ask you never to leave small children unattended in the pool area.
